Greetings Fellow Hackers,
Your mission, should you choose to accept it is to flip through the proceedings that we have gathered here and drop in on some (or all) of the presentations.
The authors have done an excellent job this year and there should be a tough contest for the best paper.
The eleven papers that we have fit into three basic categories:
• Programming and C++
• Operating System Applications
• Other
That’s right: “Other”. These papers consist of encryption, compression, emulation, and animation.
The Operating System Applications deal with the Speech Recognition Manager, the Simple Mail Transport Protocol, and the Joy of AppleScript.
Programming and C++ refers to a track of four papers ranging from hacking and slashing bad code and comments to small furry mammals writing friendly objects and then using powerful libraries.
So, I don’t think any of you will be bored.
